"Thanks For All The Fish" composed for Trumpet, Piano, Bass Guitar and Drums
It is an example of a cross-over jazz genre formed by synthesizing melancholic piano tones with moody and ethnic trumpet melodies.
Sercan Debelec's inspiration for composing this piece is the following sentence he wrote in the margin of a book that he read on a seaside during his school years;
This time I found myself on plastic mussel shells.
Again the scavenger fish stands in front of me.
How was I supposed to know there was an aquarium bigger than any aquarium I ran.
